Warehouses and production areas do not stop for cleaning, and most contractors are not equipped for the height, the dust or the machinery. Regency works around live operations, at height and out of hours, with the access equipment and written method statements to do it safely — which is what your own health and safety team will ask for before anyone sets foot on site.

Common questions
- Can you clean while we are still operating?
- Usually yes, by zoning the work and moving through the building rather than stopping it. Where a task genuinely cannot coexist with production — anything overhead, or anything involving water near live equipment — we schedule it into a shutdown or a night.
- Do you handle work at height?
- Yes, and it is a large part of what industrial cleaning actually is. Racking tops, structural steel, roof voids and ductwork all sit above safe reach, so the work is done from MEWPs, scaffold towers or access equipment appropriate to the space, by IPAF and PASMA-trained operatives with a method statement for the specific site.
- Why does dust in the roof void matter?
- Two reasons a buyer cares about. It is a fire loading, and insurers increasingly ask about it. And in food and pharmaceutical settings it is a contamination route — dust does not stay in the roof, it falls. Auditors look up.
- Can you support a planned shutdown?
- Yes. Shutdown work is scheduled against your window and resourced to finish inside it, because the cost of overrunning is not the cleaning bill, it is the production you did not run.
- What about the waste we generate?
- We are a licensed carrier, so debris, residues and swarf can be removed and disposed of under proper duty-of-care documentation rather than becoming your problem once the floor is clean.
- Do you clean racking with stock in place?
- Yes, by working aisle by aisle with the stock sheeted or moved locally. Full clearance is rarely necessary and almost never worth the disruption.
- Can you work in cold storage?
- Yes, with the appropriate equipment and shift lengths. Cold rooms need shorter working periods and different chemistry, both of which are planned rather than improvised.
