The people who run your contract

Regency employs 130+ people directly. On a contract with us you deal with the person who runs it — not an account handler several hundred miles away who has never seen your building.

Directly employed, not subcontracted

Most facilities contractors of this size subcontract the work. It is cheaper, and it is why the crew changes every few weeks and nobody on site knows your specification.

Regency employs its own people. That costs more and it is deliberate: the same faces turn up, they know the building, they are vetted by us, trained by us to British Institute of Cleaning Science standards, and they answer to a supervisor you can call by name.

It also means that when something goes wrong at 6am, the person who fixes it works for the company you signed the contract with.

How Regency is organised

Work passes through these departments. On a single-service contract you will meet one or two of them; on a full facilities contract, most of them — coordinated by one account manager so you never have to.

  • Contract management and office

Your account manager, the contract specification, scheduling, invoicing and the reporting you get each month. One named person, not a rota of call handlers.

  • Health and safety

Method statements, risk assessments, accreditation and audit. Every job that involves height, biohazard or hazardous waste is signed off here before a crew moves.

  • Team leaders and supervisors

The people who run the crews on site, hold the specification, and are the first call when something changes on the day.

  • Cleaning operatives and specialists

The largest group. Directly employed, vetted, and trained to British Institute of Cleaning Science standards — general cleaning through to decontamination and biohazard work.

  • Disposal and waste

Licensed waste carriage, clearances and bulk uplifts, with the duty-of-care paperwork that proves where everything went.

  • Removals and storage

Commercial relocations, crating and secure container storage in Ayr — usually working out of hours so a business opens on time.

  • Landscaping and grounds

Year-round grounds programmes for estates and housing land, including winter gritting and snow clearance.

  • Maintenance

Reactive repairs, minor works and refurbishment — the trades that stop a facilities contract falling between three different contractors.

A site survey costs nothing and takes about twenty minutes. You will speak to the person who would run your contract, not a call centre.
