Common questions

How quickly can you attend?
We hold 24/7 response for trauma and biohazard work and meet contracted response times for the emergency services. Call the number on this page and you will get a person rather than a queue.
Will it be obvious to neighbours?
No. This work is done discreetly, with unmarked vehicles and crews where the situation calls for it. For a family dealing with a death at home, that discretion is usually the thing that matters most.
Is this covered by insurance?
Frequently, yes — both household and commercial policies often cover specialist cleaning after an incident. We provide documentation written for an insurer, which makes the claim considerably easier.
What happens to the waste?
It is segregated as clinical or hazardous waste and disposed of through licensed routes with full duty-of-care paperwork. That documentation is part of the job, not an extra.
Do you deal with needles?
Yes. Needle sweeps of stairwells, communal areas and grounds are routine work for housing providers, done with sharps handling procedures and proper disposal.
Can families call you directly?
Yes. A great deal of this work comes through police, housing providers and insurers, but private clients can call the same number — and often do, because the alternative is doing it themselves.
What does the process involve?
An assessment, containment of the affected area, removal of contaminated material, cleaning and decontamination of surfaces, odour treatment, and licensed disposal — with documentation at the end. It is done in protective equipment throughout.
