House & property clearance

Clearing a house is rarely just a removal job. It is often after a death, a move into care, an eviction or the end of a tenancy, and somebody needs it done properly, by a date, without having to stand over it. Regency clears houses, flats and commercial property across Ayrshire, sorts what is worth keeping or donating, disposes of the rest legally, and can clean the property afterwards so it is ready to sell or let.

What the contract covers

Common questions

How much does a house clearance cost?
It depends on the size of the property, how much is in it and how far it has to go. We price after a visit, or from photographs for smaller jobs, and give a fixed price so there is nothing added on the day.
What happens to the contents?
Anything you want kept is set aside first. Usable furniture and goods are donated or recycled where possible, and everything else goes through licensed waste routes with the paperwork to show it. Nothing is fly-tipped, and you can ask to see where it went.
Can you clear a property for an executor who lives away?
Yes. A lot of our clearances are for families who are not local. We can collect keys, photograph the property before and after, and keep you updated without you needing to travel.
Do you clean the property after?
Yes, and it is usually worth it: a cleared and cleaned property sells or lets faster than one that is empty but marked. It can be quoted as one job.
