Common questions
- Who do you do this for?
- Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, both directly and through prime contractors. The work is described in our Police Scotland case study.
- How quickly can a vehicle or cell be back in use?
- We work to the response times in the contract, because the point of the work is getting the asset back in service. Turnaround depends on the contamination, but the aim is always minimum downtime.
- What standard do you clean to?
- Decontamination, not just cleaning: contaminated materials removed, surfaces cleaned and disinfected, and waste disposed of as clinical or hazardous waste with the paperwork to prove it. That protects the officers and staff who use the vehicle or cell next.
- Do you cover the whole of Scotland?
- Yes, including island locations, from our base in Ayr.
